Tops Jams Recalled for Undeclared Color Additive Risk

Mangalm LLC has announced a recall of its Tops Mixed Fruit Jam and Tops Strawberry Jam due to the presence of an undeclared color additive, carmoisine. This additive is not approved for use and may pose health risks to consumers.
Products Affected:
- Tops Mixed Fruit Jam (475g), batch #4F1101, best before 10/06/2026
- Tops Strawberry Jam (475g), batch #4F1101, best before 10/06/2026
These products were distributed in Utah, Portland, Washington, and California.
Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated because the jams contain carmoisine, an unapproved color additive. While no illnesses have been confirmed, the additive could pose health concerns.
What Consumers Should Do:
- Do not consume the affected products.
- Discard the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
