Ukrop's Recalls Baked Spaghetti and Chicken Cobbler for Metal Contamination

Ukrop's Homestyle Foods is recalling approximately 22,880 pounds of baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler products due to potential contamination with metal slivers. This recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Products Affected:

• 62.4-oz. aluminum pan with plastic overwrap containing "Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti - Bulk" with BEST BY dates from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26, marked with establishment number "EST. 19979".
• 14.8-oz. cardboard tray with plastic overwrap containing "Ukrop's Baked Spaghetti" with BEST BY dates from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26, marked with establishment number "EST. 19979".
• 48-oz. aluminum pan with plastic overwrap containing "Ukrop's Chicken Cobbler - Bulk" with BEST BY dates from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26, marked with establishment number "P-19979".
• 11.6-oz. cardboard tray with plastic overwrap containing "Ukrop's Chicken Cobbler" with BEST BY dates from 07/08/26 through 08/05/26, marked with establishment number "P-19979".

These products were distributed to retail locations in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, the Department of Defense, and through online sales.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after a consumer complaint about finding a metal piece in a fully cooked product. There have been no confirmed reports of injuries, but consumers should be cautious.
