Rosina Food Products, Inc. is recalling approximately 9,462 pounds of ready-to-eat frozen meatball products due to potential contamination with metal fragments. This recall is conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

Products Affected:

  • 32-oz. packages of fully cooked frozen “Bremer FAMILY SIZE ITALIAN STYLE MEATBALLS”
  • Contains about 64 meatballs per package
  • “BEST BY” date of “10/30/26” with timestamps between 17:08 through 18:20
  • Establishment number “EST. 4286B” inside the USDA mark of inspection

These products were produced on July 30, 2025, and shipped to Aldi supermarket locations nationwide. The issue was identified following a consumer complaint about metal fragments found in the product. No injuries have been reported, but consumers are advised to contact a healthcare provider if concerned.

Consumer Guidance:

Consumers who have purchased these meatballs should not consume them. They should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase. FSIS is concerned that some products may still be in consumers' refrigerators or freezers.
