Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated due to low levels of potassium, copper, folic acid, choline, and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). These deficiencies can pose significant health risks to kittens, including anemia, neurological dysfunction, liver failure, kidney damage, skeletal diseases, and cardiac issues. Rapid growth in kittens can lead to symptoms appearing within days to weeks, potentially resulting in fatal or permanent damage.
Consumer Action:
Consumers should immediately stop feeding these products to their kittens and contact Revival Animal Health for a full refund. For questions, contact the company at 1-877-870-4059, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm CDT.
No illnesses have been confirmed, but Revival is investigating nine complaints related to potential gastrointestinal and bone development issues. This recall is conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
