MorningStar Farms Recalls Nuggets and Sausage for Plastic Risk

MorningStar Farms has issued a voluntary recall for two of its popular plant-based products due to the potential presence of plastic pieces. This recall affects consumers in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica.

Products Affected:

• Buffalo Chik’n Nuggets (10.5 oz) with UPC 000 28989 10110 5, best if used by July 07, 2027, and July 08, 2027.
• Hot & Spicy Sausage Patties (8 oz) with UPC 000 28989 10094 8, best if used by July 05, 2027, July 06, 2027, and July 07, 2027.

No other MorningStar Farms products are involved in this recall.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated because of the possible presence of plastic pieces in the affected products, which poses a potential health risk if consumed.

Consumer Action:
