Made Fresh Salads Inc., based in Bay Shore, NY, has issued a recall for its Ready to Eat Deli Style Salads and cream cheese products due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall affects products distributed in Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and New York City.
Products Affected:
- Various deli salads, including black bean & corn, bruschetta, carrot & raisin, and many more, packaged in 5 lb. and 30 lb. tubs.
- Cream cheese flavors such as apple cinnamon, blueberry, bacon scallion, and others, available in 5 lb. and 30 lb. tubs.
The products are labeled with expiration dates from September 3, 2026, through September 18, 2026. They may have been repacked by retailers, so packaging and coding may vary.
Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated after environmental sampling by the FDA and the company found Listeria monocytogenes in the production facility. Production and distribution have been halted while the investigation continues.
