Salata Dressings, LLC has issued a recall for its Jalapeno Avocado Dressing due to potential contamination with Salmonella. This recall affects products distributed at HEB grocery stores in Texas.
Products Affected:
- Jalapeno Avocado Dressing in 12 oz plastic bottles with black caps
- Best By dates: 11/05/2026, 11/13/2026, 11/18/2026, 11/25/2026
- Distributed between July 13 and August 5, 2026
Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated after diced jalapeños used in the dressing were found to be potentially contaminated with Salmonella. This contamination is possibly linked to a multistate outbreak currently under investigation.
Consumer Action:
