Inexport Logistics LLC, based in Miami, Florida, is recalling around 189 pounds of potato chip products containing chicharrón (pork cracklings). These products were made in Colombia, a country not authorized to export meat products to the U.S.

Affected Products:

  • 60-g foil bags of “YUPI GOLPE CON TODO SABOR BBQ” mixed chips with “Clásicas,” “PLATANOS,” and “Chicharrón Fred.”

The recalled products lack import marks and were distributed to stores in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, and Texas.

Reason for Recall:

The issue was identified during a routine FSIS recall effectiveness check, which found the ineligible product in a retail setting. No illnesses or injuries have been reported.

Consumer Guidance:

Consumers should not eat these products. They should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase. Concerned individuals should contact a healthcare provider if they have health concerns.
