This recall affects products sold on August 10, 2026, at various grocery stores, select restaurants, wholesalers, and four Grand Central Bakery Café locations in the Seattle and Tacoma areas of Washington.

• Potato Market Loaf 20oz
• Potato Table Loaf 20oz
• Mini Potato Loaf 12oz

These products are packaged in paper bags or sold without packaging and are intended for home consumption as ready-to-eat bread.

Where the bread was sold (updated August 19, 2026): Grand Central Bakery has added Metropolitan Markets to the list of stores that sold the recalled bread. Retailers in the Seattle and Tacoma area include Central Co-op, Fred Meyer, Hilltop Red Apple, Ken's Markets, Marketime Foods, PCC Markets, QFC, Town & Country Market, Thriftway, Whole Foods Market, Yakima Fruit Markets, and Metropolitan Markets, along with Grand Central Bakery cafés in Burien, Eastlake, Wallingford, and Wedgewood.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after a pallet nail was found in a loaf of Potato Sourdough Bread. No injuries or illnesses have been reported in connection with this issue.

Customers who purchased the affected products on August 10, 2026, should dispose of them immediately.
