Legacy Snack Solutions is recalling certain batches of Giant Eagle Baked Pita Chips with Parmesan, Garlic & Herb due to potential Salmonella contamination. This recall is a precautionary measure following a related milk powder recall.

Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated because the seasoning blend used on the chips may contain milk powder that was recalled due to potential Salmonella contamination. Although no Salmonella was detected in the seasoning batches used, the recall is being conducted out of an abundance of caution.
Consumer Guidance:
Consumers who have purchased the affected chips should not consume them. They are advised to take a photo of the product’s bar code and Best If Used By date, dispose of the product, and contact Legacy Snack Solutions for a refund or replacement. Customers can return the product to the store of purchase or call the customer care line at 1-800-532-6120 for assistance.
No illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall. Legacy Snack Solutions is working closely with the FDA to ensure consumer safety.
