Gerber Products Company has announced a voluntary recall of certain batches of its Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits due to the potential presence of soft plastic and paper pieces. This recall is a precautionary measure following a supplier's recall.
What Products Are Affected?
- Gerber® Arrowroot Biscuits 5.5oz
- Produced between July 2025 and September 2025
- Batch codes can be found on the back of the packaging
- Best before dates range from October 16, 2026, to December 16, 2026
Why Was the Recall Issued?
The recall was initiated due to the potential contamination of the biscuits with soft plastic and paper pieces from an arrowroot flour supplier. Gerber has since ceased working with this supplier.
What Should Consumers Do?
- Do not feed the affected biscuits to children.
- Return the product to the retailer for a refund.
