Eden Brothers LLC has issued a recall for its Calabrese Broccoli Seeds due to potential Salmonella contamination. This recall affects packets, 1-ounce, and 1-pound sizes of seeds sold between July 8 and September 28, 2026, through EdenBrothers.com and Amazon.com.

  • Broccoli Seeds – Calabrese Packet (Lot Numbers: 1022067 / 1022068)
  • Broccoli Seeds – Calabrese 1 Ounce (Lot Numbers: 1022067 / 1022068)
  • Broccoli Seeds – Calabrese 1 Pound (Lot Numbers: 1022067 / 1022068)

The lot numbers can be found on the seed packet or bag.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after Eden Brothers was informed by their supplier of the potential contamination. Salmonella can cause serious health issues, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. Symptoms in healthy individuals may include fever, headache, nausea, and diarrhea.

Consumer Actions:

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled seeds. Do not plant, sprout, eat, or share them. Dispose of the seeds by sealing them in a bag and throwing them away in household trash. Wash hands and any surfaces that came into contact with the seeds. If you shared these seeds, inform others about the recall.

Eden Brothers is offering a full refund. To request a refund, complete the recall reply form available on their website. Retailers and distributors should halt distribution, destroy remaining inventory, and notify customers.
