The affected products were distributed in retail stores across Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Montana, and Nebraska.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after routine FDA sampling detected Salmonella in the products. Salmonella can cause illness in pets and humans who handle contaminated products, especially if they do not wash their hands thoroughly after contact.
