True Sea Moss Gel Recalled Over Botulism Concerns

Diva Fam Inc. has announced a voluntary recall of its True Sea Moss Gel Superfood products due to potential health risks associated with botulism. The recall affects all flavors and sizes of the product packaged in 16 FL OZ glass jars.

Affected Products:

• All flavors and batch numbers of True Sea Moss Gel Superfood manufactured before January 9, 2026.
• Flavors include Mango, Pineapple, Wildcrafted, Apple and Cinnamon, Elderberry, Passion Fruit, Blue Spirulina and Raspberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Mango and Pineapple, 15 Blends in 1, Soursop, Lemon Pie, and Orange.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated due to a lack of required regulatory authorization and temperature monitoring records, which could lead to microbial growth and the production of toxins associated with botulism. Botulism is a serious illness that can affect the nervous system, causing symptoms such as weakness, dizziness, double vision, difficulty speaking or swallowing, and in severe cases, difficulty breathing or muscle weakness.

What Consumers Should Do:

• Consumers should stop using the affected products immediately.
• Follow the instructions provided by the place of purchase for product return or disposal.
