Synear Foods Recalls Soup Dumplings for Undeclared Peanuts

Synear Foods USA, LLC is recalling approximately 71,603 pounds of frozen pork and crab soup dumplings due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The dumplings contain peanuts, a known allergen, which is not listed on the product label.

The affected products include:

• 13.23-oz. packages labeled “Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING PORK & CRAB” with best by dates of 15 OCT 2026, 10 NOV 2026, 23 DEC 2026, 26 JAN 2027, or 23 FEB 2027.
• 375-g. packages labeled “Synear SUPREME SOUP DUMPLING DUMPLINGS À LA SOUPE SUPRÊME PORK & CRAB PORC ET CRABE” with best by dates of 2026 OC 15 or 2027 JA 26.

These products bear the establishment number “EST. 45942” inside the USDA mark of inspection and were distributed to retail locations in California, New Jersey, and Washington, as well as exported to Canada.

The issue was discovered during a routine allergen verification task by FSIS personnel, who found that the products were made with peanut oil, which was not declared on the label. The mislabeling was due to a formulation change. No adverse reactions have been reported, but anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
