Class I Recall — Most Serious
This is a Class I recall — the most serious type. Products covered by this recall may cause serious health consequences or death.
Supreme Produce LLC has announced a voluntary recall of its Moonlight Peaches due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall was initiated by the supplier, Moonlight Companies, and affects certain batches of peaches sold under the Supreme Produce brand.
Products Affected:
- White and yellow flesh peaches sold in Kroger retail stores in IL, CO, GA, WA, IN, MS, TN, AR, OR, and MI.
- Packaged in clear-plastic grab-n-go containers labeled as Peach Salsa, 14oz.
- UPC: 85006540364, Best By Dates: 10/12/2025 to 10/29/2025.
Reason for Recall:
The recall is due to the potential presence of Listeria monocytogenes, a bacterium that can cause serious infections. While healthy individuals may experience short-term symptoms such as fever and diarrhea, it poses a greater risk to young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
Consumer Guidance:
Consumers are advised not to consume the recalled peaches and to discard them immediately. Although the products are no longer available for sale, they may still be in consumers' refrigerators. If you have any health concerns, please contact your physician.
For further information, consumers can contact Moonlight Companies' recall hotline at (855) 215-5017, available Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm Eastern Time.
No illnesses or consumer complaints have been reported to date for products purchased from Supreme Produce.
