SUPPLX Recalls Supplements for Undeclared Yohimbine

SUPPLX.com has announced a voluntary nationwide recall of its dietary supplements, Business Pill and Branch Manager for Men, due to the presence of undeclared yohimbine. These products, marketed for male sexual enhancement, were found to contain dangerously high levels of yohimbine, which was not listed on the product labels.

Both products were sold in single-capsule blister cards and 24-count retail boxes via SUPPLX.com, with all lots and expiration dates distributed from September 16, 2023, through June 11, 2026, being recalled. The lot and expiration information can be found on the back of each blister card.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after FDA laboratory analysis confirmed the presence of yohimbine, a plant-derived alkaloid used as a prescription medication for erectile dysfunction, which can cause severe health issues. High doses of yohimbine may lead to severe hypertension, tachycardia, cardiac arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, and severe gastrointestinal distress. It can also cause acute neurological and psychiatric effects, including anxiety and seizures. Deaths have been reported in cases of severe overdose.

Consumer Action:

Consumers in possession of these products are advised to stop using them immediately and dispose of any remaining capsules.
