Fresh & Ready Foods LLC has issued a recall for certain Spicy Breakfast Burritos due to the presence of undeclared soy. This recall affects products labeled as vegetarian that inadvertently contain sausage, posing a risk to individuals with soy allergies and those avoiding meat.

- Sprig & Sprout Spicy Breakfast Burrito, 8.3 oz (234g), UPC: 1 00001 00029 7, Fresh Thru: 07/20/26
- Fresh and Ready Spicy Breakfast Burrito, 8.2 oz (232g), UPC: 1 00001 00029 7, Fresh Thru: 07/20/26
These products were distributed in grab-and-go markets and vending machines across Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. The recall only affects items produced at the Charlotte, North Carolina facility between July 9 and July 12, 2026.
Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated after customer complaints revealed the presence of sausage in products labeled as vegetarian. This resulted in the inclusion of soy, a major allergen, which was not declared on the label. No illnesses or allergic reactions have been reported to date.
Consumer Action:
