Nelson & Isa Lacteos LLC has issued a recall for their 1lb packages of Requeson Cheese due to potential contamination with Listeria. This bacterium can lead to serious health issues, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after testing by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Market Food Inspectors found Listeria monocytogenes in a batch of cheese that was repacked into the recalled packages.
