Ocinet, Inc. has announced a recall of its “…And Kimchi” branded sliced kimchi due to the presence of undeclared fish (anchovies). This poses a risk to individuals with fish allergies, who could experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product.

Affected Products:

  • UPC 8541200408 - 126 oz (3.57 kg) jar
  • UPC 8541200409 - 63 oz (1.78 kg) jar
  • UPC 8541200411 - 30 oz (850 g) jar

The kimchi is packaged in clear plastic jars marked with the “… And Kimchi” logo in red font. It was distributed to Zion Market locations in San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Buena Park, Duluth, and Lewisville.

Reason for Recall:

The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product's packaging did not disclose the presence of fish. Distribution has been halted until the issue is resolved.

Consumer Guidance:
