Lidl US has announced a recall of their Favorina Chocolate Ladybugs - German-Style Nougat due to undeclared hazelnuts. This recall affects all lots of the 3.52 oz boxes, identified by UPC 20304492. The products were distributed to Lidl stores across several states, including Delaware, Georgia, and Virginia, between January 28, 2026, and March 11, 2026.

The recall was initiated because the packaging failed to disclose the presence of hazelnuts, posing a risk to individuals with hazelnut allergies. Consuming these products could lead to serious or life-threatening allergic reactions. Fortunately, no illnesses have been reported so far.

Consumers who have purchased these chocolate ladybugs should not eat them. Instead, they are advised to return the product to any Lidl store for a full refund, with no receipt required. For further assistance, customers can contact Lidl US Customer Care at (844) 747-5435, available Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm ET.

This recall is conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Lidl US emphasizes their commitment to customer safety and apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
