A public health alert has been issued for ready-to-eat chicken Caesar wrap products due to potential contamination with Listeria. Although a recall was not requested, consumers are advised to be cautious as these products may still be in their refrigerators.

Products Affected:

  • 8.7-oz. clear plastic wrapped packages of “FRESH SEASONS Kitchen Chicken Caesar Wrap” with “Sell By: 6/24/2026” printed on the back label above the ingredients.
  • These wraps bear the establishment number “P-45091” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
  • Distributed to Holiday convenience stores in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Reason for Alert:

The alert follows routine product testing by the FSIS, which confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in a sample.

Consumer Guidance:

Consumers who have purchased these wraps should not consume them. Instead, they should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase. No illnesses have been reported, but anyone experiencing symptoms should contact a healthcare provider.

Health Risk Information:

Consumption of food contaminated with Listeria can lead to listeriosis, a serious infection affecting primarily older adults, those with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women. Symptoms include fever, muscle aches, and gastrointestinal issues. In severe cases, it can lead to miscarriages or life-threatening infections.
