Reason for Recall:
The recall was initiated after routine sampling by the Washington State Department of Agriculture and Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services found potential contamination. Listeria monocytogenes can cause serious infections, particularly in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. It can also lead to miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women.
