The Ambriola Company has issued a recall for several of its cheese products due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. This organism can cause serious infections, especially in young children, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems. Pregnant women are also at risk, as Listeria can lead to miscarriages and stillbirths.

  • Members Mark 1.5 lb. Bag (Expiration Dates: 03/25/26, 03/30/26, 04/05/26)
  • Various bulk products with specific expiration dates

Reason for Recall: Routine testing confirmed the presence of Listeria in some products. As a precaution, additional products processed at the same facility are also being recalled.

Consumer Guidance: Customers who purchased these products should not consume them. They can return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund or dispose of them safely. For more information, consumers can contact Ambriola at 1-800-962-8224, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm ET.

Health Risks: While no illnesses have been reported, symptoms of Listeria infection include high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Anyone experiencing these symptoms should contact their healthcare provider.

The Ambriola Company is working closely with the FDA and has suspended production and distribution of the affected products while reviewing its food safety procedures.
