Alert: Misbranding and Undeclared Allergens in Frozen Meat Products
Public Health Alert
This is a USDA/FSIS Public Health Alert. Unlike a recall, the company has not issued a voluntary recall, but FSIS is alerting consumers to a potential food safety concern.
A public health alert has been issued for certain frozen, not ready-to-eat (NRTE) meat and poultry products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. These products, which include sesame and anchovy (fish) allergens not listed on the labels, were produced in October 2026 and are no longer available for purchase.
The affected products are:
- 6-piece “Bami Rolls” with “BEST BY” October 2027 and lot codes BR-2026-01 and BR-2026-02.
- 10-piece “Saté Kroketten” with “BEST BY” October 2027 and lot code SK-1026-01.
- 12-piece “Bitterballen” with “BEST BY” October 2027 and lot code BB-1026-01.
These items bear establishment numbers “EST. M3177” or “EST. P3177” inside the USDA mark of inspection and were sold by Lowlands House nationwide through internet sales. They may have also been available at a festival and farmers market in Greer, South Carolina.
The issue was identified during a routine label review. Although no adverse reactions have been reported, consumers who have purchased these products are advised not to consume them. Instead, they should dispose of the products or return them to the place of purchase.
